The Mad Hatter sits in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington, steps from the Cape Fear River. World class restaurants, shopping,
coffee shops, breweries and live music venues are just a short walk or drive away. You are also a short drive to Wrightsville and
Carolina Beaches. This beautiful location is not to be missed!
This unique condo sits just off Front Street, steps from a morning coffee run or an evening beverage. The Cape Fear Riverwalk is only a couple of blocks away, where you can walk the length of the river front and be immersed in the history and local charm of the cobblestone alleys, horse-drawn carriage tours, and magnificent art. Our private garage is a half block from the building, so you can stay parked during your stay and not have to worry about meters or traffic! Enjoy a glass of wine on the private balcony after a long day walking around town.
The bed is a memory foam queen mattress with comfortable pillows and a down duvet. You will have use of all items in the condo. If more than two people are staying with you, please let us know to arrange additional linens for the queen pullout sofa (also a memory foam mattress) and towels. Additional guests over 2 incur an added fee for linens and towels. If you only have two guests, but one is planning to sleep on the sofa bed, please let us know in advance, in order to add the linen fee and make sure the bed is made.
As with all our condos, we provide enough linens and towels for all guests at no additional cost. If you need extra, just let us know. You will also have a Keurig drip/single-cup duo machine with several varieties of coffee, tea and accoutrements. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils, cookware, and spices, and there is a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and stove to accommodate any cooking. This is also our only condo with in-unit washer and dryer!
This condo oozes relaxation, surrounded by Southern charm and dripping in local history. Perfect for vacationers, concert-goers to Live Oak Pavilion or the Wilson Center, travel nurses, and anyone looking for a break in one of the top southern cities in the US!
